Abstract
As I am a finance major student, some professors from writing department and business department asked me why I chose to take the writing arts course. The anwser is that I want to be a business writer. Actually, writing exists everywhere and every student needs writing skill for their major. when I do research for my business and finance papers, I find lots of writer from New Yorks Times (business articles) and Wall Streer Journal are graduated from business colleges. I get the inspiration from them and I consider myself to be a successfull business writer. In the business field, I learned lots of basic business knowledge, financial principle and skills. It means I have the ability to be kind of a "business"" writer. However, my writing skill will be a great obstacle. This problem is caused by I am not only a non-writing major student but also a foreign student. So in this project, I aim at combining my major and writing. I did research on the Internet and interviewed a writing professor to get some adivce for this project.
Introduction
Ai Guo Han, who is a writing arts professor from Rowan Univerisy. He is now teaching College Composition I & II, English as a Second Language I & II, and Elementary Chinese. Dr Han got his M.A. and Ph.D from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr Han is a Chinese Immigration so we have some of the same background. Besides, he knows the difference between writing in English and Chinese and he provides some personal experience of practicing his wiriting. Dr Han is interested in Chinese Daoism which is refers to a philosophy and a religious tradition that emphasizes living in harmony with the source and essence of everything that exists. Generally speaking, Dr Han has some dialectics thoughts when he answered my questions. There are no absolutely correct and incrrect so that his advice will help me with combination of my business kwowledge and writing. I interivewed Dr Han in his office at 11 o'cloch, March 7th. My friend recorded the interview as a video and it is about 24 minutes.

form monies is for legal documents. Beside, retirement funds is different retirement money though we consider the are the same somtimes.
I use the example to show that business writing are professional and rigorous.

In this article, Dana discuss waht is tone in writing and what type of tone used in business writing. Besides, the author suggest writing to use nondiscriminatory language ,like use Use neutral job titles and avoid words and phrases that unnecessarily imply gender. These two suggestions
give me good points to my research paper. I learned the tone is very important for business writing.
